Stoves and fire are being used to cook fabulous
meals everyday for us, but have you ever wondered
about the development of the stove? In this
article we will give a brief description of how
stoves and fire originated.

One of the oldest discoveries made was fire and it
was used for cooking food and staying warm. Things
haven~t changed much today than from when it was
first discovered by man. We still use fire to cook
our meals and to keep our homes warms. One of the
most recent developements in keeping warm by using
fire is the invention of the electric fireplace.
No doubt about it, mans future was changed
drastically by the invention of fire, and it still
impacts our life~s today.

Since this early time, we as a people, have
evolved to the point where we now have electric
fireplaces and electric stoves meaning that we
don't have to spend hours trying to start and
stoke a fire. Rather it is done automatically for
us.

The role that fire plays has also changed
tremendously. Stoves for your kitchen have became
more popular because they can provide the same
cooking and heating abilities that was used by
fire in the cave dwelling days. After stoves were
built, fire became more sophisticated and was
divided into both the kitchen and the living rooms
areas, increasing the popularities of stoves.

Stoves and electric fireplaces are the most
advanced in history. Electric fireplaces do not
need a ventilation system like the traditional
fireplaces needed. Stoves come with a built in
ventilation system, but if more is required you
can add an extra vent easily. Yes the invention
of electricity definitely bought stoves to a new
advanced stage in history.

Because electric fireplaces and stoves run on
electricity, it is easy to be able to control the
amount of heat they give off for warming the room
or cooking your dinner. All you need to do is just
turn the settings up or down according to your
needs.

Since you can control the settings for an electric
stove or fireplace they are more accurate than gas
or wood burning stoves. With wood or gas the heat
can begin to fluctuate making changes in the
amount of heat that is being given off, meaning
you have less control. Having an electric
fireplace or stove is a lot easier to keep clean
and in good maintenance. You never have to clean
the chimney or scoop out ashes. Cutting wood is a
thing of the past along with its mess. With
electric fireplaces all you need to do is wipe it
clean every winter and electric stoves just need
to be wiped down from anything that may have
spilled on it.
