Shoes are a huge part of our wardrobe because we have to
wear them almost every single day of our lives. Anytime you
go out, you must wear shoes to enter public places like
stores, restaurants and the workplace.

Many years ago, shoes were used only to protect your feet
from nature elements like cold and rain. The newest shoes
make you feel very comfortable even when you walk long
distances and also became fashionable.

Shoes also act as a fashion accessory or an expression of
your unique style. You can find shoes that come in various
patterns, styles and colors. People get shoes to match their
outfits, to match their personalities and to help enhance
physical activities. For example, certain shoes are designed
to help you while running or playing sports.

Types of Shoes

Depending on if you are male or female, different styles and
patterns of shoes will be available to you. There are so
many colors, materials, sizes, styles that you may find it
takes you awhile to make a decision.

Some popular types of shoes are sandals, tennis shoes,
loafers, boots and high heels. Each type has other
sub-categories beneath it. For example, there are many
different types of sandals. There are flip-flops, open toe
shoes, open heel shoes, strap sandals and much more. These
are just brief descriptions of what is actually available in
stores worldwide.

Let~s take for another example boots, and mention the types
of boots that exist. High heel boots, low rise boots, knee
high boots, steel toe boots, and much more. With so many
types of boots you will have an easy task if you want to buy
a pair to fit you very well.

On the other hand sneakers are designed for different
purposes. People usually think about sneakers that they are
designed for running or for different sports. What they
don~t know is that, nowadays, sneakers are used in every
activity that involves the use of your feet.

Other shoes that women love to wear are heels, flats,
sandals and other types of dress shoes. There are nice
brands of men's dress shoes to go with business attire and
many types of men's sports shoes.

Usually people have more than three pairs of shoes but some
of them have really big collections with thousands of shoes.
Women are more likely to be collectors than men and their
shoes are also generally more expensive than men~s shoes.
